DESCRIPTION:\nThe Muographers' Conference Series\nCosmic-ray muons are omn
ipresent elementary particles continuously produced in Earth’s atmospher
 e. Advances in particle physics instrumentation and methodology have enabl
ed the development of muography — also known as muon tomography or muo
n radiography — a passive and non-destructive imaging technique used to
explore the internal structure of large natural and human-made objects.\nA
n international community has emerged to fully exploit the potential of th
is technique across academic and industrial sectors and to promote its soc
ietal applications. The Muographers Conference Series has been held regula
rly since the late 2000s\, providing a platform for participants from all
around the world to present new discoveries and innovations\, and to discu
ss future directions in muography. In recent years\, the conferences have
 taken place in Ghent\, Belgium (2021)\, Tokyo\, Japan (2022)\, Naples\, It
 aly (2023)\, and Santa Fe\, New Mexico\, USA (2024).Muographers 2026The Mu
ographers 2026 will be held between 1-5 June 2026 in Budapest\, Hungary. T
his event will consist of a workshop\, a symposium (both hybrid)\, and a
school (in person). The event will feature plenary sessions\, a poster ses
sion and an exhibition of scientific equipment. Main Topics:Next-generat
ion instrumentation in muography (detectors\, artificial muon sources)Data
processing and simulation methods (tracking\, imaging\, inversion\, machi
ne learning)Fundamental and applied research using muography (Earth scienc
e\, physics\, archaeology)Industrial and societal applications of muograph
 y (infrastructure monitoring\, geotechnics\, mining applications\, nuclear
  safety and security\, border control\, positioning\, navigation\, timing)
Education\, outreach\, and art (muography challenge\, high school projects
 \, muography art)Keynote Speakers:Kunihiro Morishima (Nagoya University)\;
