DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Velimir Ilić (Mathematical Institute of the Serbian
Academy of Sciences and Arts\, Serbia)\n\nThe generalized uncertainty pri
nciple extends the Heisenberg uncertainty principle by incorporating gravi
tational effects in quantum systems. Its implications have been explored i
n gravitational wave detection\, neutrino physics\, and cosmology. For bla
ck holes with horizon radii approaching the Planck scale\, it predicts cor
rections to the Hawking temperature\, which induce logarithmic corrections
to the Bekenstein–Hawking entropy\, or corrections to the black hole ma
ss. In this talk\, we combine previously developed thermodynamic and relat
ivistic approaches and propose a new type of correction compatible with th
e generalized uncertainty principle. Further implications for the fundamen
tal thermodynamic relations will also be discussed.\n\nhttps://indico.wign
