Description

The Cosmic-Ray Extremely Distributed Observatory (CREDO) Budapest event will be held at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Wigner Research Centre of Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Wigner RCP), Budapest, Hungary and at the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Library) at 20-21 of September 2018. The workshop and educational event are dedicated to ensembles of cosmic rays: yet unseen messengers of the Universe.

The CREDO Budapest days will contain 2 events, connected topically but with no obligation to attend all of them. Please see the timetable for the agenda.

Conference fee: the organizers reserve the right to request a conference fee not larger than 30 EUR, to (partly) cover coffee breaks and the Conference Dinner. It will be announced no later than on September 10, 2018, if the number of registrants exceeds financial limitations of our grants.

Financial support: the organizers offer a limited financial support to partly cover accommodation and board of students and researchers. Please contact one of the organizers.

The conference is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
