Transport from Budapest airport to Tihany:

  • Take Bus 100E to Kálvin tér (or Deák Ferenc tér), then take metro line M4 (M2) to Kelenföld vasútállomás (Déli pályaudvar)
  • Take train to Balatonfüred, transfer to Balatonfüred autobus station via foot (1 min) and take bus 7355 from Balatonfüred, autóbusz-állomás to Tihany, Hajóállomás
  • Alternatively, take train to Siófok and transfer to the harbour via foot (15 min) and take the ferry to Tihany
