Description
The interplay between chiral restoration and deconfinement phase
transition is discussed. In the Polyakov-loop NJL model, the
relation between the two phase transitions is much parameter
dependent, the chiral restoration can happen earlier or latter than
the deconfinement phase transition, also the two phase transitions
can coincide with each other. We use the dressed Polyakov loop as an
equivalent order parameter of deconfinement phase transition, and
investigate the chiral and deconfinement phase transitions in the
NJL model as well as in the framework of DSE, and we find that in
the case of first order and second order phase transitions, the
chiral phase transition always coincide with deconfinement phase
transition, and in the case of crossover, the chiral transition
temperature is always smaller than that of the deconfinement. Our
result agrees with the lattice result from Wuppetal-Budapest group.
