Description

There is an industry-wide shift happening in automotive technology. Traditional computer systems and software technology cannot keep up with the increasing complexity of the problems we need to solve. AI shows great potential to be a key technology for autonomous driving yet there are many challenges for taking research results to a great real world product. The complexity of the real world holds many challenges like different weather conditions, geographical differences and various unlikely events that are underrepresented or even missing in current datasets.
This talk will show a survey of both the power and the perils of contemporary AI for autonomous driving.
